Just wanted to let you know I did my 2016 Mitsubishi outlander Octane Blue Pearl with Dr. Colorchip and the car came out amazing. You can not tell were I touch it up. You would have to look at it from 4 inches to see it. You product rates a 5 star and the direction is excellent. Now I will tackle the old touch up paint the doesn’t even match the color. Great product. I did the old touchup on your recommendation with acetone and liquid wax and it did a great job. Also after using your great product the car came out amazing can not tell it was touchup. I would like you to use my testimony to tell people how your product is great to use and easy. And by taking your time it comes out amazing. Don’t rush a good thing.

Hey folks. Just wanted to reach out and let you know how happy I am with the product. My use case isn’t exactly one you advertise, but the results are good and a hair cheaper than a repaint!

I have a 75 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with original lacquer paint. Despite being garage kept it’s whole life, it has begun to show fine cracking in a few areas along the front of the car. I read that this is relatively common with old lacquer paint, but found no advice on how to minimize the appearance outside of a repaint.
Though the “after” picture seems to indicate the cracks are all but gone, they still remain somewhat noticeable in person.

I have a 2014 Camaro in mint condition but the right front bumber was pick marked from a NJ DOT truck throwing out salt. I skeptically purchased your product and watched the training videos. 

After 2 hours work-what a difference! You have to put your nose against it to see the pick marks which are now blended into the paint.

I just wanted to drop you a line to mention once again I had great uccess using your product. I discovered Dr. ColorChip years ago looking for a solution to scratches and door dings on a previous vehicle and have used it sevral times since (different vehicles). This time around I wasn’t sure it would work because the scratches were down to the primer. After a couple of hours applying layers of paint and sealing the damage is no longer detectable. After I broke my radio antenna, I got careless during the repair, and took some paint chips off the surrounding trim plate. I tried a competitor’s water-based solution, but like the product, the money I spent was water down the drain. Then I stumbled upon your product. 

Consider me a believer. While the repair isn’t perfect, you have to be about six inches from it to see any difference in the finish at all, and now that the plate is re-installed, it’s practically invisible!

I still listen to re-runs of NPR’s Car Talk. When callers give the hosts, Click and Clack, a particularly vexing question, they often answer, “You need to go to your automotive shop and find a bottle of something that says miracle.” This is all said in jest, but I say in seriousness, “Dr Colorchip is a miracle product.” Over the years, I’ve had a host of rattlers that I’ve patched up, bondoed up, and touched up. The most notable being a 76 Datsun B210 hatchback that I referred to as a two man bobsled. Winters were exciting in that little baby. Fast forward many years, and I have a few more nickels and dimes, and I bought a low mileage otherwise like new Aston Martin in Arizona, which must be the paint chip capitol of the world. I knew it had some paint chips, but it wasn’t until I detailed it that I realized it had a ton of chips, road rash, eczema, you name it. You watch ads for all manner of products and say to yourself, how much of this is pure BS, and how much might be a tad bit true. I watched Dan McCool, the owner of Dr Colorchip, do videos, and said to myself, this stuff looks like it works and this guy is not selling me any BS. He tells you it’s going to look much better but not be a new spray job. Honesty is a wonderful thing amid a never ending landslide of nonsense. Any way. I get the box from Dr Colorchip. I say to myself, how are you going to screw this thing up. You’ve got a beautiful car, don’t make it worse. I wonder. Does this Sealact really take off the excess paint? I start with a tiny chip on the roof. I do what Dan says. One pass, it’s gone. I go to a bigger one. One pass, not bad, two passes, pretty good, three passes, jeez, I can barely see it. I go to the front and there are so many tiny chips, I decide to use the shoe polish method. It took me three or four passes, but it looks so much better.

Just wanted to express my satisfaction with the outstanding service I received from drcolorchip in obtaining touchup paint for my 75 Alfa Romeo Spider. I had great succes with their product in the past touching up minor chips and road rash on a Porsche Boxster and, although my Spider has no chips or roadrash, I wanted to be prepared for the inevitable.

My car is finished in paint code 103, Avorio (ivory), and I placed an online order under #103 Ivory, although it did not specify that it was specifically for an Alfa Romeo. When it arrived it appeared too dark, so I sent an email and received a prompt reply. They asked for details on the car, as well as some photos of the paint. Two days later I received notification that their paint technician had mixed a new bottle for me and that it had ready been sent by courier – all at no additional cost!

It was no doubt my mistake in not contacting them with details prior to placing an order and yet they went out of their way to promptly rectify the problem. Service like this is, in my experience, virtually unheard of in this day and age. Kudos to Lisa and the rest of the crew at drcolorchip!

I just wanted to tell you that I received my touch up kit yesterday and applied it to the vehicle today. The vehicle is a lease and will be returned later in January but the preliminary inspection revealed that I was not responsible for any damage fees. I did see a few small chips so I decided to repair them. It was a great time to try your product before using it on my other vehicles that I own. The process couldn’t have been easily and the results were beyond my expectation. The chips are still there but you can’t see them. The best part was this was the Pearl White that Nissan uses and since it it an multi spray to create the pearl effect, I was warned it might not match perfectly but would be closer than any other system. I agree. It’s really about expectations. The chip will still be there but if you can’t see it, great.

Thanks, used your product on my 2019 corvette grand sport. The front wheels pepper the leading edge of the rear quarter pane especially on the passenger side from gravel at the edge of mountain roads. I was horrified! Must have been 50 small chips. Dr. Colorchip made them disappear. It was amazing!!! So now I will use on my other cars. Thank you for a great product!

I just wanted to forward my sincerest thank you for the product you created. I had around, I’d say, 100-200 small rock chips along my black F-150. After looking into your product, the price was high. However, WELL worth it. 1000% better than the pens that are $15, you get what you pay for. I’m so thankful because as you can imagine, a truck with that many rock chips is incredibly hideous. Looks amazing now.

I ordered touch up paint for my car. Hundreds and hundreds of chips on the bumper and hood of my 2014 E350. I took my time, doing small sections at a time. Took a couple days. I read and saw some horror stories of people who did the whole bumper at once and then couldn’t get it to wipe off with the solvent. But I did a small section at a time and mine just looks awesome. I am so glad I trusted what I saw on your YouTube channel and decided to order my kit to repair the chips on my 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA250. I noticed a lot of small chips (around 40 on the front bumper AFTER I bought the car and was a bit nervous that I’d have to get it repainted. I saw a YouTube video highly recommending your product and when I applied it to my car, I was nervous until I saw the results! WOW! Standing less than a foot away, I cannot tell that their were chips. Even up close I have a very difficult time identifying where the chips were. I have to touch the surface to truly know. I am so pleased with the results!!!

After being told about this product by a local tint shop owner, I decided to order it. I have a 2009 Corvette that had a lot of chips on the front bumper cover. They are gone. I am partially amazed…and very very happy with the product. It took a little practice to get the feel for it, but it is very easy to get good results…I probably fixed around 50-60 chips.  The car looks sooooo much better. Thanks for making such a great product!

I bought my 1990 300SL-24 in February  The attributes were model, low mileage, and good history.   The car saw a lot of highway driving, which was good for wear and tear, but the front of the car was like it was hit with buckshot.  I’ve owned 10 Mercedes and have done much restoration work.  I’ve been using Dr ColorChip for about 20 years and always have some on hand. I spent 4 days doing touchup on the SL.  There was 200+ rock chips but you’d be hard-pressed to find them now.   My favorite tool is the squeegee.  I find it great at filling in the chips and scratches.  Most chips can be done with one application.  The larger ones take 2 or 3 applications.  The key is patients and keep at it until it’s right.  Thanks for your products!

My front tires throw rocks and grit onto the rear fender just in front of the rear tires. That area looked like it had been shot with a 12 gauge shotgun, looked like crap….for car shows, I would rubblack shoe polish into the chips trying to hide the road rash….

I decided to try your product, I thought, what the heck, for a few bucks, I will take the gamble. I am so impressed that I have been telling all the car guys about how well your product works.

Being in the car business and seeing what I would normally expect, I was hopeful that it would make my car better from the numerous stone chips that we get in the New England winters. In addition, the roads are falling apart here, so there is a lot of gravel and sand that also gets kicked up.

After about 4 fours of precise work and following the directions, the results are truly amazing. I am a professional in the used car business and to tell you the truth, I’ll be damned if I can tell where the chips were.

I still have some work to do and will be ordering a smaller kit soon.

 I am thoroughly impressed, not only with your product, but with your customer service (which, admittedly, is a pet peeve of mine). I could not be more satisfied with the product and your personal service. Know that I will definitely share my experience with my many internet contacts within the Mustang community.

I was able to use the product on a couple of chips on my Mustang’s hood and it works exactly as described in your ads. These first couple of ‘fills’ were a test, to develop my technique as much as it was to test the product. I can’t wait to fill in the rest and finally clean up the front of my beloved Mustang. The rest of it, every inch, is as close to factory fresh as one might imagine. It is a driver though…so the front has its fair share of chips.

Small scratches that one can feel with fingernail also covered up well. I had one deep chip which i just went over 3 or 4 times and it came out smooth. The nice thing about this stuff was there was no blobbing, just paint smooth surface of new paint. I did not take any before shots so I have nothing to show.

I just purchased a used VW Jetta that had a serious case of Road Rash on the hood and bumper. I was a bit skeptical about the paint sticking to the bare metal, but I followed the instructions and the results were much better than I had hoped! The color match was *perfect* and those large chips have all but disappeared. I used the Tandem Paint brush to paint the plastic front bumper along with a lint free cloth. The abraded plastic now looks shiny and new! In fact, the color match was a much better than the paint pens we were sold at a VW dealership.

There are (were) some dings, surface scratches and chips in the paint from nine years of use. I applied your paint to these areas as you say in your directions and miraculously the scratches and chips were gone! Your product is amazing and is everything you claim it to be. After installing new headlight assemblies, new alloy wheels and using your wonderful product, everyone thinks I just bought a new van.

Tried it out Sunday on my red Titan truck. WOW! It’s like the chips and scratches never happened. This is the most amazing product I have ever used.

I am ordering a bottle of paint for my wife’s car.

They send you matched BWM paint (A35 for my Monoco blue). You put the paint on the problem, and you literally rub it in. You let it dry as is. Then, they give you a solution to rub off the excess. I had some scratches on my trunk because one of my friends who was not used to the “rebound” trunk of the 530i was wearing a watch when the truck popped up. The stuff also gives you a gloss coating so you do not need to buy separate stuff. My trunk looked brand new afterwards. I was sold on the stuff.

This paint works a different way. You do not really paint it on and leave it there.

You rub the paint in to fill the gaps in the scratches and chips. Then, you rub the excess of. The beauty is that the job looks perfect.

If you use regular touch up paint or a pen, and you mess up, it is there for good. Plus regular touch up paid does not replicate the glossy finish.
